CRAIGCONNOLLY

I am a Biologist within the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency in the Office of Pollution Prevention and Toxics. Prior, I was a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Environmental Health Sciences Department, the Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory, and the Data Science Institute at Columbia University. I received my PhD in marine science from the University of Texas at Austin and BA in biology and environmental studies from the College of the Holy Cross. I consider myself an interdisciplinary scientist with a passion for discovery, education, and tackling society’s most important earth and environmental challenges. My research intersects the fields of aquatic and marine science, biogeochemistry, ecology, hydrogeology, remote sensing, environmental modeling, and toxicology. I seek to apply my transferable skills and system-wide approaches to diverse areas of research, applied science, and technology in order to produce innovative, high-impact, scientific knowledge that can help direct new management and sustainability strategies.
